Our Llamas  will pack you in and out of those destinations you've always wanted to go or places you'd like to revisit but don't want to carry the weight.  

Easy-going and agile, their padded feet and ability to browse for food make them both a natural for the back country and an environmentally sound pack animal.

The llamas are calm hard-working animals. They are easy to handle on the trail making hiking with kids and family a breeze.  

A llama can carry 60-75 pounds with incredible sure footedness and stability through mountain terrain. We limit the weight to 60 pounds for rentals. A curious and gentle nature makes the llama the perfect pack partner.

​How to rent pack llamas?
  1. Simply complete our Reservation Form Here. We’ll then contact you to discuss your proposed itinerary, dates and answer any questions.
  2. Next, you'll book your Orientation Training Course. This is a one-time course for all new renters. The course is designed to show you all the necessary steps in learning to pack with llamas including proper handling, leading, saddling, loading panniers, loading into a trailer, hiking on a trail, trail and wilderness etiquette, and more. This is a 3-4 hour course. Please schedule in advance.
  3. Lastly, we’ll email you, have you read, understand and fill out our Llama Rental Lease Agreement and Release Waiver. We require a $200 non-refundable deposit to secure your dates. Final payment due 7 days before your departure date. Cancellations must be made 14 days in advance or penalty charge of $200 will be applied.
  4. Now that was easy. Now you're ready to start your llama wilderness adventure and discover your happy place.
