*Hikers under 18 must be accompanied by an adult
*Upon completing your reservation, you will be sent a liability waiver that each llama hiker in your party will need to complete.
*must wear closed toe shoes
*Llama hiking is a strenuous activity. Physical fitness is one of many factors that determine your ability to safely participate. We reserve the right to decline service to any individual that, in the opinion of Happy Homestead Llamas, can not be safely accommodated.
*We have a 48 hour cancellation policy. All hikers must be canceled or rescheduled no less than 48 hours before your reserved date. If you do not email or call and speak with us at least 48 hours in advance and fail to show up for your hike on time you will be charged a $100 fee.
*Should weather intervene with your reserved walk we will schedule another date and time to accommodate your group
*Llamas walks on a flat well maintained trail
*Walks are 1.2 miles long and usually take 1 hour to 1 1/2 hours to complete depending on group pace
*photography with the llamas is highly encouraged
*kids can lead the llama with adult supervision
*Should your group consist of kids under the age of 18 llamas will be brought to accommodate (Ex: 2 adults and 2 kids = 2 llamas for the duration of the walk). Safety is priority.
*Note: We have a maximum of 5 llamas available. Groups of more than 5 people may have to share llamas.
