Upper Bidwell Park Llama Hike
,Come join us on a llama day hike in the renowned upper Bidwell Park located in Chico California one of the nations largest municipally owned parks. This is a great hike to see many wildflowers in March and April or fall colors in November and December. Escape to nature as your guide leads you down the trail where you’ll encounter broad sweeping vistas, various rock formations, cliffs, views of butte creek canyon, views of the city of Chico and lots of opportunities for llama selfies.
At our half way point your guide will dine you with charcuterie as you rest your feet, enjoy the llamas and partake in an opportunity to slip into your happy place. Due to the safety of participants and the llamas our maximum hiking party is limited to 4 people.
**All hikers must be physically fit to traverse across uneven terrain, loose rock and elevation changes. We reserve the right to decline service to anyone who does not meet the physical requirements associated with the hike.

Difficulty: Moderate to Difficult (minimum age 10 years old)
Terrain and Trail: Well maintained trail, loose rocks, possible mud and water, uneven ground, sloped
Elevation gain/loss: approximately 900ft
Distance: 5 miles
*Hikers must be a minimum of 10 years old and accompanied by an adult
*Upon completing your reservation, you will be sent a liability waiver that each llama hiker in your party will need to complete.
*must wear closed toe shoes
*Llama hiking is a strenuous sport. Physical fitness is one of many factors that determine your ability to safely participate. We reserve the right to decline service to any individual that, in the opinion of Happy Homestead Llamas, can not be safely accommodated.
*We have a 48 hour cancellation policy. All hikers must be canceled or rescheduled no less than 48 hours before your reserved date. If you do not email or call and speak with us at least 48 hours in advance and fail to show up for your hike on time, we will be unable to refund your total purchase less the deposit.
*non-refundable $200.00 deposit to reserve hike date.
